Topworking is a specialized grafting service that allows you to change the variety of an existing avocado tree or reinvigorate older, unproductive trees without starting over. By grafting new, high-performing scion wood onto established root systems, we help growers upgrade to better-tasting, more productive, or market-preferred varieties while preserving years of root growth and structure. It’s an efficient, sustainable way to renew your orchard and extend the life of your trees.

Topworking Service Disclaimer
I’m here to help you upgrade or change the variety of your existing tree through professional grafting. Once the grafting is done, the rest is in your hands. All aftercare — watering, protecting the grafts, managing shoots, dealing with pests, and general tree maintenance — is the responsibility of the tree owner.
Because grafting success depends a lot on proper aftercare and conditions I can’t control, I can’t guarantee that every graft will take or how the tree will perform over time. I’m not responsible for any issues that come up after the service is completed.
By moving forward with topworking, you agree to take on the follow-up care needed to give your tree the best chance to thrive.
All trees are grown in #1 tree pots (12" x 4" x 4") and priced at $60 each.

We also accept custom pre-orders for specific varieties. Please note that the turnaround time is typically 2–3 months, depending on rootstock readiness. Once grafted, trees require about 5 weeks to heal and an additional 4–6 weeks of growth before they are strong and ready for sale.
